Dan has always wanted a hunting dog! His aunt and uncle, Becky & Mark Smith – ReMark Kennels, were breeding their last litter and he knew he wanted one from them!

Ares finished his AKC Champion title in style! Along the way he has had two very impressive wins – one 4 pt major at the Supported Entry under judge Joe Gregory and then another 4 pt major under judge Jay Richardson. First weekend out as a special he won Owner Handled Reserve Best in Show under judge Kimberley Meredith earning him a spot in the Vizsla Top Ten rankings!

Three weeks later, he had a clean sweep on the field, passing 4 out of 4 hunt tests earning him his Junior Hunter title!
